Meet Ronnie Worley
A COMMON-SENSE REPUBLICAN
Ronnie Worley is a get-it-done leader, who cuts taxes, cuts red tape and delivers results – not rhetoric.
This campaign will be about accountability and getting government working again. As we come out of the pandemic, we have seen too many system failures. We need to get state government working again. We need a focus on better citizen service – not government mandates and extended executive emergency powers.
My focus in the State House will be on transportation, education, and law enforcement. We need more state funds from Raleigh into Gaston County to deal with the residential and commercial growth we have experienced the last 10 years. We need a State Representative who will work to cut taxes and cut red tape – demanding that government deliver better service to our citizens.
I will push for school choice policies because I believe that parents of school-aged children should be engaged in critical decisions about their child’s education. It is critical that parents have good choices for schools that best meet the needs of their children. I will work to reduce the bureaucracy and regulations that often hamstring our public schools so they can be more agile and competitive with Charter and Private Schools.
As a retired State Trooper with the N.C. Highway Patrol, I will be an advocate for the state’s law enforcement agencies. We need to look at improving manpower
and equipment for our State Troopers. I will work with the Colonel to
support the Highway Patrol and all law enforcement agencies from
the state to the local level.
WORKING FOR GASTON COUNTY
My experience as a State Trooper, former Mayor of Cramerton, and a two-term County Commissioner gives me the background, experience, and leadership to serve in the North Carolina House of Representatives. We need to focus on making government work for the people. We need better service in every department of state government – making our citizens the top priority – not programs and bureaucracy.
I am a fiscal conservative, a common-sense Republican. I believe in a ‘get-it-done’ type attitude where you peel away the layers of bureaucracy and government resistance and you focus on getting a job done knowing that the actions will impact the daily lives of our citizens.
I am the only candidate for NC House who has actually cut taxes – not once but twice. I know what it takes to implement common-sense, conservative values. I will take that leadership style to Raleigh and work to cut taxes, cut government and improve the services we deliver to our citizens.
